On June 15 1995 the Manitoba Pool Elevator in Durban Manitoba burned to the ground after a lightning strike. When the fire was finally out it was only the elevator that was gone, but as we see in this episode the entire community was nearly lost to the fire when a second thunderstorm began blowing 2-3 inch embers through the area. Only a downpour saved numerous other buildings.

We look at the site of the elevator by drone and then spend most of the episode watching a video recorded by the Swan River Fire department when they arrived on the scene to assist the Benito Fire department.
